“Clavulanic Acid” a.k.a. “Potassium Clavulanate” is β-lactam drug which acts an inhibitor once combined with the Antibiotics, enhances the efficiency of the antibiotics for better results. By its function, it is not an Antibiotic. Our product is generally combined with penicillin-group antibiotics, for overcoming the Antibiotic resistance in the bacteria that secrete β-lactamase. β-lactamase once secreted by the bacteria inactivates most of the penicillins.
